Victor Rendina

Victor Rendina (born December 28, 1916 in New York City , † July 8, 1985 in Orange , California ) was an American film and television actor .

He was best known for his portrayal of Philip Tattaglia , the head of one of the Five Families of New York, in the film The Godfather (1972). Rendina has also starred in television shows such as The Honeymooners and Matt Houston , as well as in films such as The Wedding With Obstacles (1983) and The Time The Navy Calls (1984). From 1951 up to and including 1985 he was seen in a total of 18 productions for film and television.

He was married to his wife Ida (1920–1986) until his death.
