Victoria Vetri

Victoria Vetri , also Angela Dorian or Victoria Rathgeb (born September 26, 1944 in San Francisco ) is an American model and actress .

Life

Vetri is the daughter of Italian immigrants and grew up in Hollywood , where her parents ran a nightclub. She studied art at Los Angeles City College and became a photo model. She also attended an acting school and chose the stage name "Angela Dorian".

In 1963 she made her film debut in Kings of the Sun as a native girl under the name "Victoria Vetri" . In September 1967 she was Playmate of the Month and received a role as Angela Dorian through Roman Polański in his shocker Rosemary's Baby . In this film she is mistaken for a gag by Mia Farrow with a famous actress named Victoria Vetri, whereupon she later appeared under her real name.

In 1968 she was voted Playmate of the Year. In 1969 she played the female lead in the lightly clad film When Dinosaurs Ruled the Earth , but after the poor response to this production, her career stagnated. She then worked in numerous series episodes. In 1980 she was seriously injured in an act of violence in her Hollywood home.

Vetri was arrested in October 2010 and charged with attempted murder of her husband. She pleaded not guilty. In September 2011, she was sentenced to 9 years in prison.
