The Viddalen (Norwegian for wide valley is) one with glacial ice stuffed Valley in East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . It lies between the southern end of the Ahlmannryggen and the Borg massif .
Norwegian cartographers, who also named it descriptively, mapped it on the basis of surveys and aerial photographs of the Norwegian-British-Swedish Antarctic Expedition (1949–1952) and aerial photographs of the Third Norwegian Antarctic Expedition (1956–1960) from 1958 to 1959.
