The Ahlmannryggen ( Norwegian ; English Ahlmann Ridge ) is a largely icy mountain range in the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land , dominated by scattered, ice-free peaks . It rises between the Schytt glacier and the Jutulstraumen and stretches from the Borg massif northwards to the Fimbul ice shelf on the Princess Martha coast .

This area was first photographed from the air as part of the German Antarctic Expedition (1938–1939) and roughly mapped. The stone knolls and Wittespitzen discovered in the process belong to the north-eastern part of the Ahlmannryggen. Detailed mapping was carried out on the basis of geodetic surveys of the Norwegian-British-Swedish Antarctic Expedition (1949–1952) and aerial photographs of the Third Norwegian Antarctic Expedition (1956–1960). It is named after the Swedish glaciologist and geographer Hans Wilhelmsson Ahlmann (1889–1974), who was a member of the Swedish committee of the Norwegian-British-Swedish Antarctic Expedition.
