The stone domes are a group of nunataks in Queen Maud Land, East Antarctica . They rise up 24 km east of the Wittespitzen in the northeastern part of the Ahlmannryggen .

This formation was discovered and named during the German Antarctic Expedition in 1938/39 under the direction of polar researcher Alfred Ritscher . Namesake is Willy Stein, boatswain on the research vessel Schwabenland . A mapping was carried out by participants in the Norwegian-British-Swedish Antarctic Expedition (1949–1952). In Norway the Nunatakker are called Straumsnutane .
