Vienna House , until February 2016 Vienna House Hotelmanagement GmbH , is an Austrian hotel operator. The company, which was founded in 1989 and is based in Vienna , operates over 50 hotels across Europe with over 3,200 employees.

Business area

The core business of the hotel group is the management of city, resort and congress hotels, mainly in the four-star category. The group operates hotels that are owned as well as on the basis of management or lease agreements on the name and account of the respective owners. She is primarily responsible for operations, sales, marketing and controlling. The first hotel was the Hotel Diplomat in Prague. The expansion course has been intensified since 2004. Rupert Simoner, most recently Senior Vice President Kempinski Europe and General Manager for Kempinski Sankt Moritz, has been CEO since September 1, 2014. In 2017 the group was sold to the Thai U City PCL. In 2019 Vienna House took over some German city hotels from Arcona Hotels .

In addition to the hotel industry, the group produces a magazine four times a year.
