Fortunat Huber (born September 27, 1896 in Zurich ; † October 22, 1984 in Horgen ) was a Swiss entrepreneur , publisher and writer .

Fortunat Huber was born in Zurich on September 27, 1896 as the son of the businessman Rudolf and Luise Wilhelmine (née Salis) in Zurich. Huber, who married Ellinor Gisela (nee Vögeli) in 1929, died on October 22, 1984 in Horgen.

Professional background

Huber, who studied theology , founded the magazine " Schweizer Spiegel " and the publishing house of the same name together with his sister Elisabeth and his brother-in-law Adolf Guggenbühl in 1925 .
