The almost square earthwork with sides of 110 to 120 meters lies on a low, north-west facing spur. The delimiting, heavily sloping embankments with their raised corners are up to 2.6 meters high and largely undisturbed. The former outer moat seems to have been filled in in ancient times.

In the west, the wall is broken in the middle by the original gate opening. The whale incision in the southwest corner is younger. The Bavarian State Office for Monument Preservation lists the ground monument as a square hill from the late La Tène period under monument number D-1-7934-0013.

To the north-west of the ski jump, the State Office for Monument Preservation lists some row graves from the early Middle Ages (monument number D-1-7934-0015). About 150 meters north-northeast of the complex there is a settlement of unknown time in the area (monument number D-1-7934-0022). Near the southwest corner of the ski jump runs the route of a road from the Roman Empire, which is now called Via Julia (monument number D-1-7934-0145).
