The Vietlübber See is a lake in the municipality of Dragun in the district of Northwest Mecklenburg . The north bank of the water borders on the municipality of Veelböken . The eponymous place Vietlübbe is located about 500 meters west of the lake.
The body of water is located in the northwest of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, about six kilometers east of Gadebusch . The main town of Dragun is on the south bank. The lake, whose water surface is 53.9 m above sea level. NHN , has a maximum north-south extension of 1.6 kilometers and in the north a maximum width of 400 meters. In the south, however, the channel-shaped lake is barely 200 meters wide. The lake has a piped drain towards the Streitmoor.
The lakeshore is mostly forested in the narrow edge and swampy in the northern part.
