ViewMyBrowser (short VMB) is a browser sharing software for remote maintenance , online presentations, online meetings , sales help and online support, as cloud computing application to firewalls and NAT and proxy servers working over and in 2011, SAP received award "Best Cloud Idea". Unlike TeamViewer VMB uses only the HTTP and WebSocket - protocols within the browser. It was designed to actively and passively lead to an increase in profit in online shops and web applications . Operating systems

VMB is compatible with all common web browsers. As an alternative to the web application, there are also desktop applications for Windows , OS X and various Linux distributions, which offer almost all the functions of the web application.

Since VMB is a cloud application, an internet connection is of course required. Connections via Internet Protocol Version 4 and Internet Protocol Version 6 are supported. JavaScript is used to transfer the browser content . The DOM tree is read out at certain intervals by the session applicant and transmitted to the supporter, where it is displayed again without loss. By using websockets, there is almost no time delay.
VMB can also be used free of charge, but the browser sharing function is then deactivated and you can only chat.

Practical use

VMB is integrated into a website , an online shop or a web application using a JavaScript code snippet, for example , and immediately offers the entire GUI . The visitor can use this to start a browser sharing session. This session enables the operator of the site to offer support or to use it as a sales aid.

privacy

All data is transmitted in encrypted form. This is done either via the HTTPS or the WSS protocol, depending on which web browser is used and whether web sockets are supported.
