Viksai
Viksai (full throne name Somdet Brhat Chao Vijaya Raja Sri Sadhana Kanayudha ; † 1638 in Luang Phrabang ) was king of the Laotian kingdom of Lan Xang between 1637 and 1638 .
Viksai was the youngest son of King Mom Kaeo and succeeded his older brother Ton Kham (r. 1633 to 1637) to the throne. Viksai was trained in the palace, but died a year after he took over the throne. He left two sons:
- Prince ( Chaofa ) Puya (Bu), who fled to Mueang Chieng Khan after his cousin Sulinyavongsa took power in 1638 and later entered a temple; he died in Nakhon Phanom , leaving a son:
- Nantharat , who later became king of Lan Xang and ruled between 1695 and 1698
- Prince ( Chaofa ) Jaya (Soi), who fled to Sapu Luang after his cousin Sulinyavongsa took over the throne
