The Victor-Adler-Hof was built from 1923 to 1924 according to plans by the architect Engelbert Mang . The front side is symmetrical and is emphasized by a raised central risalit with a gable as well as round loggias and groups of balconies.
It was named after the founder of the Austrian social democracy, Victor Adler , who had campaigned especially for the brick workers on the Wienerberg.
