Viktor Gluth

Viktor Gluth (born May 6, 1852 in Pilsen ; † January 17, 1917 ) was a German composer and music teacher.

Gluth studied music in Prague and Munich and taught piano and composition at the Royal Academy of Music in Munich. From 1912 to 1917 he was a member of their board of directors. Among his students were Bruno Barilli and Max Ettinger . He composed, among other things, overtures, symphonic poems, piano pieces and concerts, songs and several operas.
