Zlatan Azinović (born January 31, 1988 in Kalmar ) is a former Swedish football player . The goalkeeper made his debut in the Allsvenskan in 2008 .
Career
Azinović moved from his hometown club Persnäs AIF to the youth department of Kalmar FF . Here he moved up in 2005 as a junior player in the squad of the professional team, where he was in particular behind Petter Wastå substitute goalkeeper. In the 2008 season he made his debut in the 3-0 win over GIF Sundsvall with goals from Rasmus Elm , Viktor Elm and Abiola Dauda in the top division. This was his only league use in the championship season, only in 2010 he came to another game. In the course of the year he even moved into the third ranks behind Wastå and Etrit Berisha , whereupon the club loaned out to league rivals Trelleborgs FF from summer 2011 . In a duel with Viktor Noring , he lost out and played three times for the new club by the end of the season. After Noring moved from relegated to Malmö FF in early 2012 , Trelleborgs FF signed him as his successor. In the Superettan he was a regular straight away. In the summer, however, returned Noring, who had remained with Malmö FF without a game, back. He then moved to Malmö FF until the end of the season. After he was only a substitute behind Johan Dahlin , the club decided not to extend his contract.
On January 1, 2013, Azinović rejoined Kalmar FF, where he signed a one-year contract. Here he was a substitute behind Berisha, but even after his move to Lazio Rome he remained behind Lars Cramer on the bench and did not play in the championship. After his contract expired, he moved back to Malmö FF on a free transfer in early 2014, where he signed a two-year contract. At the reigning Swedish champions he was substitute goalkeeper behind Robin Olsen , and in the successful title defense in the 2014 season , he made two appearances due to minor injuries to his rival. Also in the subsequent season he first stood in the shadow of the competitor, after his summer move 2015 PAOK Thessaloniki he stood in three matches in the Allsvenskan and in the matches against FK Žalgiris in the second qualifying round of the 2015-16 UEFA Champions League on the playing field. There he sustained a knee injury that helped substitute young goalkeeper Marko Johansson to make his professional debut. A few days later, the club signed a substitute with Johan Wiland as the new "number 1", with whom the club moved into the group stage of the Champions League.
In March 2016, Azinović moved on loan to the second division club Ängelholms FF , where he should recover and gain match practice by the end of the season. The sustained damage to the knee turned out to be too severe, so that he ended his active career in the summer of that year and took on a job at the Malmö FF youth academy.
