Career

Career start at home and breakthrough in Sweden

Dauda began playing soccer with the Grassroot Highlanders in his home country. In 2006 he moved to Europe to join the Swedish club Sölvesborgs GIF . He distinguished himself as a regular goalscorer for the club from southern Sweden, which was competing in the fourth division Division 2 Södra Götaland . After scoring 23 goals in 25 games in the 2007 season, he piqued the interest of higher-class clubs like Kalmar FF .

In October 2007 he signed a three-year contract with KFF that was valid from January 2008. For his new club he ran in both the Allsvenskan and the U-21 youth team in the first few years . In his first year he contributed with five goals in 21 games, in which he was five times in the starting lineup, to win the Lennart Johansson Cup for the Swedish national champions. In his second year at the club from Småland , he temporarily earned a regular place and was one of the club's most dangerous players with seven goals this season , alongside Rasmus Elm , Daniel Mendes and Tobias Eriksson . In November of that year, he extended the contract with Dauda by three years.

In the following years Dauda wavered between starting line-up and bench. He also sat on the bench in the 2011 cup final against Helsingborgs IF , replacing Daniel Mendes in the 81st minute . Nevertheless, the game was lost with a 1: 3 defeat. In the 2012 season he became a regular goalscorer, which again guaranteed him a regular place with coach Nanne Bergstrand . With 14 goals this season, he was among the top five goalscorers in the list of goalscorers, and at the end of the season the club was in the middle of the table. He then announced his departure from the club at the turn of the year, he was associated with clubs in various European countries.

Champion with Red Star Belgrade and move to Holland

Dauda then moved to the Serbian top club Red Star Belgrade , where he signed a contract in February 2013. There he soon belonged to the starting line-up and played eleven games by the summer in which he scored four goals. At the end of the 2012/2013 season he was runner-up with his club. Together with Dragan Mrđa , he formed the club's goal-scoring storm duo in the following season, which led the club to win the championship in a championship duel with the reigning champions, local rivals Partizan Belgrade .

In July 2014, Vitesse Arnheim and Roter Stern agreed on a move, and he signed a three-year contract with his new club, which was coached by Peter Bosz . In February 2016 it was awarded to the Scottish first division club Heart of Midlothian for half a year .
