Viktor Pospischil

Viktor Pospischil (born January 21, 1922 in Vienna ; † April 24, 1983 in Neunkirchen ) was an Austrian politician and editor. From 1949 to 1956, Pospischil was a member of the Lower Austrian state parliament .

After graduating from high school, Pospischil worked as a chemographer . During the Second World War he did his military service and was injured during the war. After the Second World War, Pospischil worked as an editor and in 1949 was co-founder and chairman of the “ Association of progressive socialists ” (left-wing socialists). Pospischil was a member of the Lower Austrian state parliament from November 5, 1949 to September 19, 1956. He resigned his parliamentary mandate with a letter dated August 2, 1956, because he rejected the merger of the Left Socialists with the KPÖ.
