Viktor Suchy

Viktor Maria Suchy (born November 28, 1912 in Vienna ; died July 31, 1997 there ), pseudonym Philipp Noël , was an Austrian editor , publisher's editor , writer and literary critic .

Life

From 1948 to 1954 he was editor- in-chief and editor-in-chief of the journal Wissenschaft und Weltbild , he was a lecturer at the Vienna Catholic Academy , from 1957 to 1964 he was chief editor of the Stiasny publishing house in Graz , he was the editor of its pocket book series Stiasny-Bücherei ( The Austrian word ). He was the founder and from 1965 to 1978 Secretary General and most recently Honorary President of the Documentation Center for Modern Austrian Literature .
