Viktoria Kleingladbach (officially: Sportverein Viktoria 1930 Kleingladbach eV ) is a sports club from the Hückelhoven district of Kleingladbach in the Heinsberg district . The first soccer team took part in the DFB Cup once.
history
The club was founded in 1930 and initially played at the local level for decades. In 1974 the team rose to the then fourth-class national league , where Viktoria mostly played against relegation. In 1978 the Kleingladbachers qualified for the DFB Cup after victories over SV Schlebusch , Siegburger SV 04 and VfL Gummersbach . In the first round , the team had to compete at the then Bayern division ESV Ingolstadt-Ringsee .
Since the Victoria that season of the class participants lowest was the sports editor turned Eberhard Figgemeier a club portrait for the ZDF telecast the current gym . The game ended with a 4-0 win for Ingolstadt. After relegation from the regional league, a sporting downturn followed, which led the club into the regional league B.
