Viktorija Gečytė

Viktorija Gečytė (* 1985 ) is a Lithuanian jazz singer .

Gečytė appeared on Lithuanian television at the age of five. With great interest in jazz, she hitchhiked to almost all jazz festivals in Lithuania as a student. She completed her studies with the help of a scholarship at Lafayette College in Easton (Pennsylvania) . Since 2008 she has performed with Gene Perla's band .

Gečytė has lived in Paris since 2008, where she worked in the management of a communications agency, but also established herself as a singer. In 2018 she performed with the hr big band in Frankfurt with the program Tales from Lithunia .
