Jack Hickey (actor)

Jack Hickey (born November 21, 1989 in Ireland ) is an Irish actor in film and television. He played roles in films like The Light of Day or Mary Shelley .

life and career

Jack Hickey was born in Ireland to a stage actress who worked for the Abbey Theater Company for twenty years. His father works in film. His mother eventually encouraged him to take acting classes. Early in his acting career, Hickey appeared in a number of short films before landing the lead role in the small independent production The Light of Day in 2014 . He then played roles on television in popular series such as Penny Dreadful , Vikings , Game of Thrones , Jericho or in the award-winning television series Emmerdale, which has been running since 1972 . In 2017 he also worked alongside actors such as Elle Fanning , Maisie Williams and Bel Powley in the Mary Shelley film adaptation, directed by Haifaa Al Mansour .

Jack Hickey lives in Dublin and London.
