Viktoriya Yermolyeva

Viktoriya (Vika) Yermolyeva ( Ukrainian Вікторія Єрмольєва / Wiktorija Jermoljewa ; * 1978 in Kiev , Ukrainian SSR ) is a pianist who performs under the stage name vkgoeswild .

She is known for her heavy metal covers on the piano, currently lives in Frankfurt am Main and has already won various international piano competitions. After completing her studies at the National Music Academy of Ukraine Peter Tchaikovsky in 2000, she deepened her skills at the Liszt School of Music in Weimar and at the International Piano Academy "Incontri col Maestro" in Imola (Italy) together with the pianist Lazar Berman . Further study visits took her to the Netherlands at the Codarts Academy of Music and Modern Dance at the Rotterdam Conservatory.

In the classical phase Yermolyeva won the 1st prize of the "Filippo Trevisan" for interpretations on the piano in Italy. She is the winner of the Amsterdam Canal Festival in 2005, won first prize in the international “Vincenzo Bellini” competition in Italy, first prize at the 20th international piano competition “Citta di Marsala” and the grand prize of the 9th international Pierre-Lantier -Music competition in a duet with V. Dmitriev (flute) in France.

Since 2006 she has been directing her career in the direction of rock music, specializing in heavy metal covers. Sometimes she also covers classical orchestral compositions and film music that is otherwise not available in printed form. 2019 she played on Humanicide of Death Angel in the title Immortal Behated .
