The Villa Carnap is a slated half-timbered house in Wuppertal - Ronsdorf in the residential area Ronsdorf-Mitte / Nord . It is located in the street In der Krim , house number 42. The two and a half story house was built in 1890 by Johannes Sebulon Carnap in what was then Waldstrasse . Today it is a listed building and is inhabited. The villa has an almost rectangular floor plan with a few bay windows and ornamental decorations on the window friezes and gable eaves.

Villa Carnap is the birthplace of the philosopher Rudolf Carnap , who was born here on May 18, 1891. A bronze plaque attached to the house reminds of this. Another resident of the villa was the local politician Otto Kreitz .
