The Wuppertal residential area of Ronsdorf-Mitte / Nord is one of six quarters in the Ronsdorf district .
geography
The 2.66 km² residential area is roughly bounded in the north by Landesstrasse 418 and Parkstrasse ( Landesstrasse 419 ), in the east by Erbschlöer Strasse, in the south by Holthauser Strasse and in the west by the Gelpe brook . The south-east belongs to the center of Ronsdorf and is heavily populated. The north-western area with the outlying villages and courtyards Holthausen , Huckenbach , Baur and Dorn is more rural, while the forest area in the historic Gelpe Valley connects to the west . In the north are the Ronsdorfer Anlagen , a wooded private but publicly accessible park. In the immediate vicinity is the Villa Carnap , the birthplace of the philosopher Rudolf Carnap .
The residential area has a primary school and a reformed cemetery. The Luther Church Ronsdorf and the Reformed Church Ronsdorf with the neighboring former Reformed school are considered to be important architectural monuments . In the quarter there is the Bandwirerplatz , which forms the center of Ronsdorf, and the historic Ronsdorf post office .
