The Rehsiepen residential area in Wuppertal is one of six districts in the Ronsdorf district .
geography
The 0.97 km² residential area is only partially populated and is enclosed by the federal motorway 1 , the Wuppertal-Oberbarmen-Solingen railway line and the border to the neighboring town of Remscheid that runs along the Tannenbaumer Weg road . The settlement includes a loose single-family house development along the streets Rehsiepen and Tannenbaumer Weg as well as a multi-family housing estate on the street Mohrhennsfeld , which is a special focus of urban development due to social problems .
The settlement area Im Rehsiepen is within walking distance from the center of Ronsdorf via a pedestrian bridge that leads over the facilities of the Wuppertal-Ronsdorf train station . The city bus line 620 runs from the station forecourt. Line 630 runs through the residential area. Most of the multi-family houses were built in the mid-1970s by the housing association Neue Heimat and initially managed.
In the quarter there was a branch of a drugstore chain until the beginning of 2009, which is now closed. The area around this market still serves as the settlement's social meeting point. The only remaining shopping opportunities are various vending vehicles that regularly offer their goods in the district.
The district includes the localities, residential areas and suburbs of Blombach (Ober- and Unterblombach) and Kastenberg .
