The Langerfeld-Mitte residential area in Wuppertal is one of nine residential areas in the Langerfeld-Beyenburg district and represents the original Langerfeld settlement core .

geography

The 0.67 km² residential area is bordered in the east by the Protestant cemetery, the streets Hessische Strasse and Eisenstrasse , in the south by the streets Beyeröhde , Am Hedtberg , Buschenburg . The railway line Wuppertal-Oberbarmen-Solingen , close to the tunnel portals of the Langerfelder Tunnels and Rauenthaler Tunnels , the streets Badische Strasse and Braunschweigstrasse, limits the area to the west. To the north, Langerfeld-Mitte is bounded by the Elberfeld – Dortmund railway line .

In a clockwise direction, the residential quarters Fleute , Ehrenberg , Rauental , Jesinghauser Strasse surround the Langerfeld-Mitte quarter.
