The Friedrichsberg residential area in Wuppertal is one of six districts in the Elberfeld district . The Friedrichsberg survey gives its name to the residential area .

geography

The 2.39 km² residential area borders the Grifflenberg residential area in the east , the border being first Steinbecker Strasse and then Cronenberger Strasse . Further to the south-east there is no special landmark that the border follows. In the south, the district borders on Küllenhahn , which belongs to the Cronenberg district, and the residential district boundary does not follow any special landmarks. In the west the area borders on the Zoo district and in the north the Arrenberg district adjoins.

In the north of the area is the former Elberfeld slaughterhouse (Viehhof), to which VillaMedia belongs. The Friedrichsberg elevation is forested and represents a local recreation area with a sports facility on the summit. There are also some allotment gardens and 2 primary schools in the area.

The residential areas and locations in the quarter include In der Dalster , In der Deister , Im Honigstal , Auf der Königshöhe , Ossenbeck , In den Stöcken . The Obere- and Mittlere Steinbeck courtyards have merged into the residential development .
