The Blutfinke residential district in Wuppertal is one of six districts in the Ronsdorf district .
geography
The 3.96 km² residential area consists of the densely populated eastern part of the center of Ronsdorf with the locations Böckel , Echo , Grünenbaum , Hütte , Im Saalscheid Mühle , Rädel and Stall as well as the hamlet of Heidt with the Schmittenberg residential area . Large areas of the living quarters are to the west of the forest area to the streams Gelpe , Heusiepen , Saalbach and Ronsdorf dam , even historic Gelpe valley called ingested. Saalbach and Heusiepen form the border with Remscheid . The street “An der Blutfinke” stretches between Talsperrenstrasse and Luhnsfelder Höhe.
Infrastructure
The 650 bus goes to the “An der Blutfinke” area. An educational institution with a large catchment area is the Erich Fried - Comprehensive School . The associated sports hall is also used by some sports groups. There is also a day care center at the Blood Finch.
The ribbon weaver museum in the former Prussian ribbon weaver school presents the historical handicraft of the Ronsdorf ribbon weavers , but is located downhill towards the center. A fire protection company, a metal processing company and the apple juice factory are located on this street.
The Bergisch Land Rehabilitation Clinic is located in the forest .
The "Laufclub Keulen und Keuler", the Hegering Ronsdorf and the local home and citizens' association have their home address here. The Wuppertal fun run "Around the Ronsdorfer Talsperre " has been held annually since around 1965 . On October 24, 1919, the hiking club "Alpenrot" was founded in the Ernenputsch inn at the Blutfinke. He was the forerunner of the "Ronsdorfer Naturfreunde", who later built the Naturfreundehaus "Die Hütte", which they ran until 1933.
