The Heusiepen is a 1.301 kilometer long stream and a left tributary of the Saalbach in the river system of the Wupper in the Wuppertal district of Ronsdorf .

topography

The stream rises in a 20-meter-wide basin enclosed with bank masonry at around 297 meters above sea level in the south of the Ronsdorf district south of Heidter Straße near the city limits of Remscheid . After around 50 meters of piping through which the stream crosses under a meadow fallow, it enters a system of several larger and smaller ponds. These ponds are partly used as fish ponds.

Around 320 meters from the source, the Heusiepen leads through a meadow area that borders on private gardens. Here it runs cased under a dirt road. After a further 220 meters, the stream leads past several ponds at the Remscheid Hofschaft Heusiepen of the same name . Further piping takes place around 860 meters from the source.

After around 1.3 kilometers from the source, the Heusiepen flows into the Saalbach at around 224 meters above sea level.
