Echo is a locality in the district of Ronsdorf in the mountainous city of Wuppertal in North Rhine-Westphalia ( Germany ).

Location and description

The location is in the Blutfinke residential area on Echoer Straße west of the Ronsdorf center near the border with Remscheid . In addition to Heidt, neighboring locations are the places and residential areas Stall , Ritzel , Hütte , Grünenbaum , Mühle and the Remscheid villages Neuland and Langenhaus .

history

Echo is recorded for the first time on the measuring table sheet from 1892. In the municipality lexicon for the Rhineland province from 1888, three houses with 96 inhabitants are given. The Echoer Strasse school was built in 1878.
