The Wuppertal residential area Berghausen is one of seven quarters in the Cronenberg district .
geography
The 1.15 km² residential area is bordered in the north by the Bergische Museumsbahnen , in the northeast by the streets Nettenberg and Rheinbach , in the south by the Löhsiefen and Elsiepen brooks and in the west by the street near Schwaffert .
In a clockwise direction, the residential areas of Cronenberg-Mitte , Sudberg and Kohlfurth surround the residential area.
The tram depot used to be located above Nettenberg Street. This was later used as a storage place by the Heikaus construction company. Houses were newly built on the site, nothing can be seen of the depot.
In addition to the museum railway, the Greuel House of Friends of Nature is an attractive excursion destination. It serves as a starting point for hikes in the adjacent wooded Kaltenbachtal . The Greuel stop is currently the final stop of the museum railway.
The residential development is divided into the areas Berghausen , Berghauserhöhe and Rottsiepen as well as the outskirts of Schwaffert.
