The Tesche residential area in Wuppertal is one of nine quarters in the Vohwinkel district .

geography

The 1.34 square kilometer residential area is bordered by the Wuppertal-Vohwinkel – Essen-Überruhr railway line to the west, the Grünewald road to the north , the Düsseldorf – Elberfeld railway line to the south and a connecting curve between the Wuppertal Northern Railway and the Düsseldorf railway line to the east –Elberfeld limited. The Wuppertal Northern Railway crosses under the residential area in an east-west direction in the Tesch tunnel , the federal road 224 crosses the residential area in a north-south direction.

The residential area has a closed development in the south and east as part of the central Vohwinkel residential areas. In the north and north-west, the quarter is used agriculturally or is occupied by large allotment gardens. There is also the somewhat secluded district of Ladebühne . To the southwest is located on the border of the residential district of Vohwinkel center of Wuppertal-Vohwinkel station .
