The Villa Guaita was a large residential building in Kronberg im Taunus built in 1893 and demolished in 1961.

The Villa Guaita was built in 1893 by the Frankfurt architects Ludwig Neher and Aage von Kauffmann in an eclectic mix of historicism styles for Max von Guaita , a member of the influential Frankfurt Guaita family , in a 12 hectare park area. The property was divided in 1936 and a 7.5 hectare residence with parkland was created for Fritz Ter Mer, member of the IG Farben board. In 1953, the influential banker Hermann Josef Abs bought this property . The actual Villa Guaita was used from 1940 to accommodate those who had been bombed out. After the Second World War it served as a dormitory for refugees and displaced persons from eastern Germany and then as a school building. Up to 20 families should be accommodated there. It was demolished in 1961, the area surrounding it is now called Guaita Park , and is divided into parcels and other buildings.
