Erick Fornaris Alvarez (born January 2, 1979 in Havana ) is a former Cuban diver . He started in artificial jumping from the 1-m and 3-m board as well as in 10-m tower diving and in 3-m and 10-m synchronized jumping.

Fornaris participated in three Olympic Games . In 2000 in Sydney he landed on rank 37 on the 3-meter board, in 2004 in Athens he reached positions 22 and 28 on the 3-meter board and 10-meter tower. In the 3 m synchronized jumping he finished fourth with Jorge Betancourt . In 2008 in Beijing he started in the 10 m synchronized jumping and finished seventh together with José Antonio Guerra .

Between 2001 and 2007 he took part in four swimming world championships . His best placement was a fourth place in the 10 m synchronized jumping in 2007 in Melbourne . At the Pan American Games , he won three silver medals, all in synchronized jumping. 2003 in Santo Domingo from 3 m and 2007 in Rio de Janeiro from 3 m and 10 m.

He ended his active career after the 2008 Olympics.
