The Villa Kirrmeier-Ecarius is a former upper- class double residential building in Speyer , Bahnhofstrasse 54. The building, which was converted in 1980, is a listed building .

The double villa was built in 1889-1892 according to plans by the architect Heinrich Jester . Its historic architecture is based on models of the so-called “German Renaissance” , the facades show red bricks with structures made of yellow sandstone , the richly ornamented street facades are loosened up by side risers , bay windows and corner turrets. The interior of the house has been partially preserved.

Since 1980 the building has housed the city library with a stock of approx. 80,000 media: books, newspapers, magazines, CDs, videos, DVDs, games and CD-ROMs. The adult education center Speyer (VHS) is also located in the building.
