history

The master builder Adolf Neumann built a rental villa with two floors for Wilhelm Rheins in 1897/1898. In 1907 the entrance porch was increased.

The former Russian envoy to Korea, Carl von Waeber (1841-1910), lived in the house during the last part of his life.

In 1989 the family of the pastry chef Heinz Bläser, who formerly lived there, received permission to run a café with a garden restaurant, the Café Bläser . Today the villa is used again for residential purposes.
