Villa Oellacher in Lans
House chapel of Villa Oellacher

The Oellacher residence is located north of the municipality of Lans in the Innsbruck-Land district of Tyrol (Kralbergweg 31).

The listed complex was built in 1845 by Guido Oellacher, owner of the Anna pharmacy in Innsbruck , as Lans' first country house. The complex consists of a property enclosed by a natural stone wall with the Villa Oellacher , a house chapel and a marble commemorative fountain dated 1884. The shape of a cello case was deliberately chosen for the property of the Oellacher Villa , as the builder Guido Oellacher was an enthusiastic cellist. With the exception of the English park , which was still there in the 19th century, the appearance of the residence has not changed to this day.

The villa is a typical example of the classifying late Biedermeier style of construction and also evidence of late Biedermeier living culture. It has a symmetrical facade design with a rusticated base zone and motif details ( pilaster structure ) and is thus reminiscent of Italian Renaissance seats . The Zirbelstube inside the house was presented at the 1910 World Exhibition in Brussels . The room paneling and the field ceiling have a polychrome painting and date from around 1845. The barrel oven loaded as a rear loader from the hallway with inserted green pot tiles on the front and a surrounding oven bench is remarkable. The chapel is built in the neo-Romanesque style, the marble fountain dates from 1884 and is reminiscent of the progenitor of the Innsbruck branch of the Oellach family.
