Villa Parkstrasse 9 (Dresden)
The Villa Parkstrasse 9 in Dresden was built by Alfred Hauschild from 1866 to 1868 and destroyed in 1945. The villa was an example of buildings that quote Palladio .
description
It was a two-storey villa clad with sandstone . The floors were divided from one another by cornices. The building ended in an observation deck.
The longer facade had a front length of 5 window axes , while the narrower facade only had a 3-axis front length. On the long facade, a “back sheet” combined three window axes and opened up over both floors to a loggia , where a semicircular exit could be seen in the central axis. To the right and left of the loggia, in front of the remaining window axes, a side projection with a bay window was attached at ground floor level, which had balconies.
