Villa Stotz
The Villa Stotz at Charlottenstrasse 31 in Heilbronn was built in 1905 according to plans by the architects Kappler and Beckmann from Heilbronn. The owner was the reindeer August Stotz .
description
On the one hand, the villa still has historicizing elements such as Romanizing twin windows in the curved gables with volutes, bundled columns and ashlar blocks on the verandas, as well as a gable and a baroque window in the stairwell, but on the other hand also features of Art Nouveau . In the monument topography of Baden-Württemberg , the “clear, concise and concentrated treatment of the plastered wall surfaces” is mentioned in particular.
history
In 1950 the villa belonged to the timber merchant Emil Knobloch, who rented five apartments in it. In 1961 the widow Johanna Knobloch owned the villa, and three tenants are also mentioned.
