Villingili , also called Wilingili , is an island in the Maldives . It belongs to Addu Atoll (Seenu), the southernmost, just a little south of the equator lying atoll of the Maldives. There is the highest point in the Maldives with 2.4 m above sea level.

In 2005, Maumoon Abdul Gayoom , the President of the Maldives, signed a contract with the hotel group Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts to build the first luxury resort on the Addu Atoll. The opening took place in July 2009.
