Vincent von Spreckelsen

Vincent von Spreckelsen (* around 1550 in Hamburg ; † 1609 there ) was a Hamburg senior citizen .

Origin and family

Spreckelsen was a son of the senior elder in the parish Sankt Nikolai Johann von Spreckelsen († 1560) from his marriage to Lucia Barschampe and a grandson of the Hamburg mayor Peter von Spreckelsen († 1553).

He was married to Margaretha Vilters. His daughter Gertrud married Diederich vam Holte, son of the mayor Diederich vam Holte († 1605), and the second marriage to the senior elders in the parish of Sankt Jacobi and Senator Johann Wetken (1584–1643). His son Erich was married three times and was the father of the senior elder in the parish of Sankt Katharinen and later Senator Joachim von Spreckelsen (1636–1707).

Live and act

In 1598 Spreckelsen Jurat was elected in the parish of Sankt Nikolai, and in 1602 under the Hundred Men. In 1608 he was elected senior elder in the parish of Sankt Nikolai for the late Albert Hackmann († 1608), but died the following year. His successor was Hans Schaffshausen (1556–1638).
