The Vincenzhaus Hofheim is a special educational children's home in Hofheim am Taunus . The carrier is the Caritas Association Frankfurt. The responsible diocese is the Diocese of Limburg .

The building was erected between 1880 and 1888. It is a historical half-timbered building designed by Max Meckel . The children's rest home was opened in 1888. In 1892 the Dernbach sisters took over the house. Orphans were also accepted. From 1924 the house served as a rest home for sick mothers and children. From 1947 the house was used as an infant home.

Since 1955 the house has been a special educational children's home. Since 1999, the offers include a therapeutic residential group for children with familial abuse experiences and their own home school for grades 1 to 9. An extension for the residential group was opened in March 2011. Christine Leonhard-Içten was the head, Eckhard Döppeler took over the acting management. Since November 2011, the facility has been headed by qualified teacher Thomas Lange.

In March 2010, the Frankfurter Rundschau published reports of mistreatment and sexual abuse following a tip from a former. As part of a wave of scandal in 2010, various cases of abuse by the Roman Catholic Church became known. There will be no criminal prosecution as the cases are statute-barred. In particular, all files from before the mid-1970s were destroyed. In addition, no requests for compensation were made.
