Vincenzo Alberto Annese (born September 22, 1984 in Bisceglie ) is an Italian football coach and national coach of Belize since 2019 .
Career
Annese is a UEFA Pro licensed coach, which allows him to coach teams in the top divisions. He has gained experience as a youth coach in Italian football academies and clubs (mainly with the big, well-known Italian teams) as well as internationally as head coach for various men's teams. Annese started his career as a professional head coach for the youth team of SSD Fidelis Andria in 2018 (from 2010 to 2012). He was promoted to coach in the Italian 3rd division, Lega Pro Prima Divisione, then it went on at Foggia Calcio 2013-2014 Lega Pro Prima Divisione. Since then, Annese has been head coach in many countries at the highest level, including Latvia, Estonia, Ghana , Baaleschdi, Indonesia , Kosovo and Armenia. He was the tactical / technical coach of the junior national teams of the Armenian national football team (U-19 juniors) (U-14, U-15, U-16, U-17, U-19) in the Armenian Football Association.
He has been the national coach of the Belizean national team since June 2019 and plays with them in the CONCACAF Nations League B, Group A. When he took office, Belize was ranked 166th in the FIFA world rankings. His assistant coach is Charlie Slusher from Belize.
