Vincenzo Campi
Vincenzo Campi (* 1530, 1535 or 1536 in Cremona ; † October 3, 1591 ibid) was an Italian painter, architect, engraver, draftsman and cosmographer .
Vincenzo Campi was a student of his brother Giulio and the son of Galeazzo Campi . He was a tireless companion of his brothers, whom he almost equals in color, but strives for in drawing. At Cremona you can see four representations of the descent from the cross by his hand. Vincenzo was better at small figures than large ones; its portraits and fruits were also valued. Many of his cabinet pieces were painted on slate.
