Vincenzo Ferrari

Vincenzo Ferrari (* 1941 in Cremona , Lombardy ; † 2010 ) is an Italian painter, author and filmmaker.

life and work

Vincenzo Ferrari was born in Cremona in 1941. His family moved to nearby Milan shortly after he was born . From 1960 Vincenzo Ferrari studied at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera with Gianfilippo Usellini . Ferrari was later appointed professor at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera. He has been friends with Vincenzo Agnetti since 1969 .

In 1973 Vincenzo Ferrari, Ugo Carrega and Claudio Salochi founded the “Centro di Ricerca Non Finalizzata” and brought out the book “Gli oggetti recuperati della nostra infanzia” and the film “Oggetti sani, oggetti malatti”.

With Ugo Carrega, Vincenzo Ferrari prepared the La Nuova Scrittura / New Writing manifesto , which was signed in 1975 by themselves and Vincenzo Accame , Martino and Anna Oberto, Corrado D'Ottavi, Rolando Mignani and Liliana Landi.

Since 1976 Vincenzo Ferrari worked with Alik Cavaliere .
