Vincenzo Natoli

Vincenzo Natoli (* 1690 in Sant'Angelo di Brolo , † October 21, 1770 in Palermo ), was a judge of the Kingdom of the Two Sicilies . He was involved in the construction and development of a large part of the city of Palermo and in 1765 initiated the construction of the Palazzo Natoli .

Life

1730–1734 and again in 1740 he was a member of the Gran Corte of Palermo. From April 1748 he was Minister for Messina . On July 10, 1751, he became "King's Advisor", the closest adviser to the King of Naples. From 1758 he was President of the Court of the Real Patrimonio in Palermo. In 1756 he was taken over by King Charles III. appointed Marchese by Spain . In April 1761 he became President of the High Civil and Criminal Court.

Natoli was married to Angela Piola for the first time, and to Maria Sieripopoli, widow of Baron Mangiadaini, for her second marriage, for whom he built the Palazzo Natoli. His son Artale Natoli died before his father on December 11, 1768. Natoli died in Palermo in 1770 and was buried in the Capuchin crypt there.
