The Vineyard Sound off the coast of the state of Massachusetts in the United States is the combination of Rhode Iceland Sound to the west and Nantucket Sound to the east.
It separates the island of Martha's Vineyard from the Elizabeth Islands with Cuttyhunk in the very south-west and the south-west part of Cape Cod .
