Vintilă Cossini (born November 21, 1913 in Constanța ; † June 24, 2000 ) was a Romanian football player , of Italian origin. It was used in 163 matches in the highest Romanian soccer league, Divizia A , and took part in the 1938 World Cup.

Career

Cossini began playing football in his hometown of Constanța with Tricolor, which at the time played in regional leagues. In 1933 he moved to CFR Bucharest (later Rapid Bucharest ), which he remained loyal to until the end of his career in 1941. With Rapid, Cossini won the Romanian Cup six times and was runner-up five times. However, he never achieved his greatest success, the championship.

National team

Cossini played 25 games for the Romanian national football team . He made his debut on June 17, 1935 against Yugoslavia . He was in Romania's squad for the 1938 World Cup in France and was used there in the first game against Cuba .

Others
