Violet Baddeley
Violet Maude Baddeley (* in the 2nd quarter of 1902 in Kensington ; † in the 20th century , married Violet Maude Engelbach , later Violet Maude Thompson ) was an English badminton player . She is the daughter of Herbert Baddeley , who was a successful tennis player and also played badminton.
Career
Violet Baddeley won silver at the All England in women's doubles with D. Myers in 1927 . In the final they were defeated by the English compatriots Margaret Tragett and Hazel Hogarth . In 1930 she married Archibald Frank Engelbach, a successful badminton player.
