Margaret Tragett
Margaret Rivers Tragett (born September 6, 1885 in Jamaica as Margaret Larminie , † March 31, 1964 in London ) was an English badminton player . In 1911 she married Robert Clayton Tragett , who was also a successful badminton player.
Career
Margaret Larminie was one of the most important badminton players of the second and third decades of the 20th century. After two finals without a win, she won the women's doubles at All England in 1914 and 1922 . In 1923 she won both mixed and doubles. She won her last title at the All England 1928 in mixed and women singles.
She was inducted into the Badminton Hall of Fame in 1999 .
