French Open 1908 (badminton)
The 1908 French Open in Badminton took place in Dieppe from November 27-29, 1908 . It was the first edition of this event. 121 athletes competed, including 30 from the British Isles. The award ceremony took place in the presence of Mr. Dudfield-Willis, Secretary of the English Union. In the men's singles, Frank Chesterton prevailed against Hugh Comyn in the final after he had already eliminated George Alan Thomas in the semifinals .
